Pastificio ‘ La Pasta Gluten Free Il Girasole’ was established in Oristano in 2017, and is the first pasta factory in Sardinia to make typical Sardinian dry pasta formats such as ‘Sa Fregua’ ‘Malloreddus’ ‘Ciccioneddos’ and others, with the added value of using only naturally gluten-free cereals such as maize and rice.
The raw materials are chosen according to short supply chain selection criteria, reflecting the highest standards of quality and safety.
Another not insignificant aspect is that our products are free of additives such as colouring agents, preservatives, and various flavourings.
The production process, the beating heart of the process, uses bronze dies that give the pasta shapes a rough surface, for excellent absorption of the sauces, and a slow drying process that respects the nutritional values present, resulting in an excellent stability of the finished product.
Whenever obstacles arise in life that need to be overcome, we always try to find solutions outside of ourselves.
We are scrambling to figure out how to solve the problem that takes our strength away, our breath our energy.
On that particular, difficult day, as in a long series, on a hot August day, my mind projected me into an expansive field of sunflowers, beautifully all oriented towards the sun, a true spectacle of nature.
For the first time in a long while, at that precise instant, I felt an integral part of that wonder, a strong energy and lightness. Everything I had experienced up to that moment now no longer plagued me.
I realised that in those wonderful sunflowers, looking towards the sun, looking towards the light, I could also be there.
I realised that from that moment on, I no longer had to worry about anything, I too could look towards that sun.
No one has the right to extinguish your inner light.
And yes, those sunflowers turning towards the sun, were MY RESCUE, MY REBIRTH.
